Looks like the properties section is to blame.

Old:

  <properties>
    <project.reporting.outputEncoding>UTF-8</project.reporting.outputEncoding>
    <java.version>1.8</java.version>
    <resource.delimiter>@</resource.delimiter>
    <maven.compiler.source>${java.version}</maven.compiler.source>
    <project.build.sourceEncoding>UTF-8</project.build.sourceEncoding>
    <maven.compiler.target>${java.version}</maven.compiler.target>
  </properties>

New:

  <properties>
    <java.version>1.8</java.version>
    <resource.delimiter>@</resource.delimiter>
    <maven.compiler.source>${java.version}</maven.compiler.source>
    <maven.compiler.target>${java.version}</maven.compiler.target>
  </properties>

Isn't that a duplicate of #19815?

Ah yes, thanks. I'm a bit behind with issues and I just threw it in without checking.
